NC3 and ASE Education Foundation
The National Coalition of Certification Centers (NC3), the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE), and the ASE Education Foundation are proud to announce a new collaboration aimed at enhancing and growing automotive technical education with secondary and post-secondary institutions across the United States. This partnership will strengthen our collective efforts to meet current industry needs in the transportation service sector.
Through this initiative, NC3 and the ASE Education Foundation will support high schools and community/technical colleges by ensuring that all automotive and diesel programs have the opportunity to obtain ASE program accreditation and embed industry-recognized certifications into their curriculum. ASE and NC3 will work together to promote certification standards and advance instructor professional development and training. We believe this will lead to improved education technology and elevate the image of technical education and skilled trades.
“Our partnership with ASE Education Foundation underscores NC3’s commitment to bridging the gap between education and industry,” said Roger Tadajewski, NC3 Executive Director. “Together, we are empowering students to obtain ASE and NC3 and competency-based training and credentials that employers value, helping to build a stronger, more skilled workforce.”
“We’re excited to collaborate with NC3 to elevate the conversation and take action on the technician shortage,” said Dave Johnson, President and CEO of the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). “We value NC3’s commitment to preparing the next generation of automotive service professionals and look forward to working together to support and retain skilled talent in the industry.”
The ASE Education Foundation plays a crucial role in advancing automotive service excellence and developing a skilled workforce, while attracting future generations to careers in the automotive industry. NC3 was established to build strong industry partnerships with educational institutions to develop, implement, and sustain industry-recognized, stackable certifications with strong validation and assessment standards. NC3 is a network of education providers and corporations that supports, advances, and validates new and emerging technology skills.
