“We work closely with schools like LSUA and CLTCC,” Neal said. “By communicating with them, we can analyze labor market trends and determine the necessary training and skills students need to succeed in manufacturing.”
Both leaders pointed out the importance of soft skills, which are personal attributes that help people interact effectively with others.
“Students should focus on being good employees,” Green said. “Arriving on time, demonstrating a strong work ethic, and being open to learning new skills. These soft skills are essential for success in any industry.”
By building partnerships and emphasizing both technical skills and soft skills, Louisiana Central aims to prepare students for lasting careers and meet the needs of local industries.

Each of the four colleges within the region has signed articulation agreements that allow students a successful path toward higher education and life-long learning.
