TEMPLE, Texas (KWTX) The Temple ISD and Johnson Brothers Ford have joined forces to give students a chance to get “real world” work experience while in high school.

The partnership was announced Monday night at the Temple School Board meeting.

The business will help guide automotive program students at Temple High School on how to deal with customers and deadlines.

Students will interact with customers in a pure business setting. They interact with customers here at the school now but it’s different when it’s in an educational setting versus a business setting,” said Denise Ayers, the district’s director of career and technical education.

This is the first time a business has teamed up with the district for its automotive program.
