Encouraging Girls in STEM

Numerous studies have shown that girls often have less confidence than boys in STEM subjects and are more likely to choose other careers. However, we must empower girls to break this trend and pursue careers that align with their interests and abilities.  In recent years, the world has recognized the importance of promoting gender equality in all fields, including STEM. As educators, you play a vital role in shaping the future of young minds and fostering a love for these subjects. Encouraging Girls in STEM.

The Importance of Supporting Girls in STEM:

It is a well-known fact that women are underrepresented in STEM fields. According to a report by UNESCO, women represent only 28% of engineering and technology graduates globally. This lack of gender diversity can have significant consequences on research and the innovation process, leading to fewer perspectives, solutions, and products. Therefore, we must focus on encouraging more girls to pursue STEM fields.
