As a freelance reporter, he found himself reporting at the center of a heated conflict, traveling to the Turkish-Syrian border to cover the Syrian civil war for The Huffington Post and CNN.

Lippman regularly appears in leading media outlets, including CNN, MSNBC, BBC, CNBC and C-SPAN, speaking to the latest in current affairs.
